Spring Clean Up Day –Saturday May 5th

 

A cleanup day will be held on May 5th at the clubhouse starting at 8:00 AM.  Some of the projects to be done that day include:  clubhouse cleaning, painting the walls in the bar, yard work, and other projects.  All members are encouraged to come and help out.  Any member who comes and works that day will be entered into a drawing for a Henry US AR& .22 Auto Survival Rifle.

 

 

Annual Raffle:  The Annual Fundraising Raffle was held on March 3th.  Prize winners were:

 

Grand Prize – 2006 Yamaha Grizzly 4WD Four Wheeler – Win Rowell, Iron Mountain

First Prize – Savage 110 .270 cal rifle with scope and hard case – John Olson, Florence

Second Prize – Henry Yellow Boy .22 cal lever action rifle – Beth Sullivan, Iron Mountain

Third Prize – Winchester Style 97 12 gauge pump shotgun – Kay Montambo, Iron Mountain,

Fourth Prize - $50 Cash – Scott Metras, Iron Mountain

Monday – Trap shooting starting at 4 PM.  Contact Bob or Beth at 542-3426

Tuesday – Sporting Clay shooting starting at 4 PM.  Contact Ted at 774-7650 for more info.

Tuesday – Cowboy Action Shooting starting in May. Contact Bob at 774-7479 for info.

Wednesday – Youth Rifle Shooting starting after school is out.  Contact Pat at 774-7789 for info.

Wednesday – IDPA shooting starting at 5:30 PM.  Contact Tony at 779-5484 or Bob at 774-5336.

Thursday – Skeet shooting starting at 4 PM. Contact Bob at 246-3672 for info.

Thursday – Outdoor pistol league starting at 5:30 PM.  Practice shooting starts May 31, league shooting June 14 – August 30.  Contact Bob at 774-5336 or Dave at 282-1015.

Saturday – Open skeet shooting and 5-stand shooting begins at 10:00 AM each Saturday

Mud Drags.  The Annual Mud Drags will be held Saturday, July 28th.  We will be looking for members to help out at this event.

 

Fall Gun Show  The fall gun show will be held September 8-9.  Please mark your calendars and plan to attend.

Donation Boxes.  The annual membership dues only cover a small portion of the club operating expenses.  If you use the club shooting ranges, please put a couple of dollars in the donation boxes to help pay for taxes, insurance, heat, lights, etc. 

 

 

Membership Renewal.   If you have not yet renewed, this will be your last newsletter.  A membership form is enclosed.

 

The clubhouse is available for rental - for information about club rental or any of the upcoming activities, contact Gregg Erickson.
